Control 80% of the world map. Toward that goal you capture unclaimed land, build cities, ports and factories, raise an army, negotiate alliances and use nuclear strikes to break stalemates. Because every nation starts from one territory and hundreds of AI tribes sit between players, the win is usually decided late — keep your economy ahead of your army's cost and protect the cities that fund recruitment.

The official description counts 88 player nations plus hundreds of AI tribes on a single shared world map. With up to 55 players per server the exact fill varies, but the pitch is always the same: you and the other players each take one country while AI tribes occupy the gaps. Your starting position — coastal, landlocked, island or bordered - decides how you should expand first.

Treat nukes as endgame tools, not openers. You need a strong economy first because building and launching them is expensive, and every strike paints a target on your nation. Experienced players save them for fortified rivals or stalled coalitions when the element of surprise wins the war. A well-timed nuke can break an 80% race, but a wasted one can cost you the match.

Money follows territory. Claim unclaimed land early, then build cities and ports to raise income and add factories to multiply production. The community heavily debates whether the factory or the anchor upgrade is the better first buy, though official numbers are not published. In general, reinvest income into troops and upgrades instead of hoarding it on your home city.

Both upgrades exist and players argue over which one wins, but RoFront does not publish the exact numbers. The common community view is that the factory delivers a more immediate income boost while the anchor unlocks stronger long-term bonuses, so many players take the factory first and circle back to the anchor as their economy stabilises. Alliances are a core mechanic listed in the official description. Friends and trusted rivals team up to share borders, coordinate wars and defend each other across the map. The trick is that alliances shift fast — always keep home borders defended while you negotiate, and time your declaration of war carefully instead of fighting everyone at once. Peace deals buy time to rebuild after a lost offensive.
